The Lesser daffodil (Narcissus minor) belongs to Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in western Europe, from the Pyrenees to northern Spain. It grows in alpine meadows and shrublands, reaching a height of 10 to 25 cm. The leaves are long and narrow, with a slightly grayish color. In early spring, yellow flowers bloom at the tips of the stems. The corona is long, and there are six perianth segments that open. The flowers are fragrant.
