	わが国の北海道から本州に分布しています。山地の渓流沿いなど、やや湿ったところに生え、高さは１０センチほどになります。茎には毛がなく、葉は広卵形で対生します。４月から５月ごろ、小さな淡い黄緑色または黄色の花を咲かせます。花弁のように見えるのは萼片です。
	ユキノシタ科ネコノメソウ属の多年草で、学名は Chrysosplenium grayanum。英名はありません。
	"Nekonome-so" (Chrysosplenium grayanum) belongs to Saxifragaceae (the Saxifrage family). It is a perennial herb that is native to Hokkaido and Honshu in Japan. This herb grows in wettish places of along montane streams and can reach about 10 cm in height. The stem is glabrous. The leaves are broad ovate and opposite. The small pale yellowish-green or yellow flowers appear from April to May. The sepals look like petals.
