わが国の固有種で、各地に分布しています。山地から亜高山帯の草地に生え、高さは２０〜４０センチになります。葉は披針形で叢生します。４月から７月ごろ、花茎を伸ばして壺形の黄緑色の花を咲かせます。花序軸や花柄、花披は腺毛があって粘ります。和名は、「のぎらん（芒蘭）」に似ていて粘ることから。 |

ユリ科ソクシンラン属の常緑多年草で、学名は Aletris foliata。英名はありません。 |

The "Nebari-nogi-ran" (Aletris foliata) belongs to Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is a perennial evergreen herb that is endemic to Japan, and distributed in various regions in Japan. This herb grows in montane to sub-alpine grasslands, and can reach 20-40 cm in height. The leaves are lanceolate and clumping. The flowering stalks are borne and urn-shaped, yellowish green flowers bloom from April to July. The axis of inflorescence, peduncles and perianthes are covered with sticky glandular hairs. |
