のびる (野蒜)

わが国の各地をはじめ、台湾や朝鮮半島、中国に分布しています。山野に生え、高さは４０〜６０センチになります。葉は線形で２〜３個つきます。５月から６月ごろ、花茎を伸ばして散形花序をつけますが、花序のなかには、淡い紅色の両性花とむかご（零余子）があります。地下には鱗茎があり、食用にされます。 |

ユリ科ネギ属の多年草で、学名は Allium grayi。英名は No-biru。 |

"No-biru" (Allium grayi) belongs to Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in Japan, Taiwan, the Korean Peninsula and China. This herb grows in fields and mountains, and can reach 40-60 cm in height. The leaves are linear and 2-3 fascicled on the tips of bulb. The umbel is borne on a stalk from May to June, and contains pale ponceau hermaphrodite flowers and bulbils. The bulb is edible. |
