南アフリカ、ケープ地方の北部と南西部に分布しています。砂礫地の斜面に生え、高さは１０〜４５センチになります。花はつぼみのときは紫色ですが、開くと山吹色に変化します。花被片には紫褐色の斑があります。 |

ユリ科ラケナリア属の多年草で、学名は Lachenalia mutabilis。英名はありません。 |

The Lachenalia mutabilis belongs to Lilaceae (the Lily family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in the northern and southwestern parts of the Cape Province, South Africa. This herb grows on the slopes of gravel, and can reach 10-45 cm in height. The flowers are purple when they are buds, but turn bright yellow when they open. The perianth segments have purple-brown spots. |
