南アフリカのケープ地方の西部に分布しています。砂地の平原や丘陵に生え、高さは２０センチほどになります。葉は２個がでて、褐色の斑があります。１１月ごろ、花茎を伸ばして明るい紅色の筒状花を咲かせます。 |

ユリ科ラケナリア属の多年草で、学名は Lachenalia rubida。英名はありません。 |

The Lachenalia rubida belongs to Lilaceae (the Lily family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in the western part of the Cape region of South Africa. It grows on sandy plains and hillsides and is about 20 cm tall. It has two leaves with brown patches, and around November, it produces bright red tubular flowers on extended flower stalks. |
