南アフリカ、ケープ地方の北西部に分布しています。砂地の平原に生え、斑のない２個の葉がつきます。冬の終わりに、花茎を伸ばして淡いブルーと明るい藤色の花を咲かせます。 |

ユリ科ラケナリア属の多年草で、学名は Lachenalia splendida。英名はありません。 |
|
|
The Lachenalia splendida belongs to Lilaceae (the Lily family). It is a perennial herb that is found in the northwestern part of the Cape region, South Africa. It grows on sandy plains and has two unspotted leaves. In late winter, the flower stalks extend to produce pale blue and bright wisteria-colored flowers. |
