ラケナリア・バンジリアエ [Index] [Back] 南アフリカの西ケープ地方が原産です。葉にはふつう表面に紫褐色の斑紋がありますが、ときにないものもあります。早春に花を咲かせますが、淡青色から白色の筒状で、緑色または黄緑色の隆起があります。この変種名は、カーステンボッシュ植物園へ１９２７年にはじめて導入したバンジル女史（Mrs. Van Zyl）に因みます。 ユリ科ラケナリア属の多年草で、学名は Lachenalia aloides var. vanzyliae。英名はありません。 Lachenalia aloides var. vanzyliae belongs to Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is a perennial herb that is native to the West Cape Province of South Africa. The leaves are usually marked purplish-brown on the upper surfaces or sometimes unmarked. The flowers are cylindrical, pale blue to white with green or yellowish-green gibbosities and borne in early spring.
