ランプランツス・アウレウス [Index] [Back] 南アフリカの西ケープ州が原産です。乾燥した亜熱帯バイオームに生え、高さは４０〜５０センチになります。茎は暗褐色で、直立または地面を這います。葉は３稜形から円筒形で灰緑色、互生します。６月から９月ごろ、明るい橙色から黄色の花を咲かせます。果実は木質の�刮ﾊです。いろいろな栽培品種が作出されています。  ツルナ科マツバギク属の常緑多年草で、学名は Lampranthus aureus。英名は Golden vygie、Golden ice plant。  The Golden vygie (Lampranthus aureus) belongs to Aizoaceae (the Ice plant family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is native to the Western Cape province of South Africa. It grows in dry subtropical biomes and is 40-50 cm tall. The stems are dark brown, erect or creeping on the ground. The leaves are gray-green, alternate, three-ribbed to cylindrical, and bloom from June to September with bright orange to yellow flowers.
