レモンカット [Index] [Back] 「ながきんかん（長金柑）」と「レモン」との属間交配種です。高さは２．４〜３メートルになり、黄色い果実をつけます。果実は「レモン」よりも小さくて、酸っぱさもそれほどではありません。果皮もまた食べられます。  ミカン科キトロフォルツネラ属の常緑低木で、学名は X Citrofortunella sp.。英名は Lemonquat。  The Lemonquat (X Citrofortunella sp.) belongs to Rutaceae (the Citrus family). It is a small evergreen tree that is a hybrid between Oval kumquat (Fortunella margarita) and Lemon (Citrus limon). This tree grows 2.4-3 m tall and bears yellow fruit that is smaller than lemon and not as acidic.
