ロベリア・トゥパ [Index] [Back] 南アメリカのチリ中部、バルパライソ州からロス・ラゴス州にかけて分布しています。乾燥した森林や草原、道ばたなどに生え、高さは５０〜３００センチなります。基部からいくつかの中空の茎を伸ばします。葉は楕円形で灰緑色、細かいフェルト状の毛に被われ、長さは１０〜１５センチメートルになります。７月から９月ごろ、茎頂の大きな総状花序に赤色の花を咲かせます。花冠は管状で、２唇形をしています。 キキョウ科ミゾカクシ属の多年草で、学名は Lobelia tupa。英名はありません。 The Lobelia tupa belongs to Campanulaceae (the Bellflower family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in central Chile, from Valparaiso Region to Los Lagos Region. It grows in dry forests, grasslands, and roadsides, reaching heights of 50 to 300 cm. It extends several hollow stems from its base. The leaves are elliptic, grayish-green, covered in fine felt-like hairs, and grow 10 to 15 cm long. From July to September, it blooms with red flowers in large racemes at the stem tips. The corolla is tubular and bilabiate.
