ブラジルが原産です。着生ランで、茎は叢生して高さは１０〜４５センチになります。葉はやや肉厚で２列に重なりあってつきます。ほとんど一年中、上部の葉腋から短い花茎をだし、黄色い花を咲かせます。唇弁の下部には赤褐色の斑が入ります。

ラン科ロックハルチア属の常緑多年草で、学名は Lockhartia lunifera。英名はありません。

The Lockhartia lunifera belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is an evergreen herb that is native to Brazil. It is an epiphytic orchids, the stems are crowded and the height is 10-45 cm. The leaves are somewhat fleshy and bear in two rows with an overlap. Almost all year round, short flower stalks emerge from the upper axils and bloom yellow flowers. There are reddish brown spots on the lower part of the lip.
