The tassel fern (Lycopodium squarrosum) belongs to Lycopodiaceae (the Club moss family). It is an evergreen fern that is native to Africa, Australia, Asia and the Polynesia. This fern is epiphytic or lithophytic and grows in humid, partial shade places. The stem can reach 40-70 cm long and diverges in several directions at the tips. The leaves are small, yellow-green and scale-like.
