The Rheingold cedar (Thuja occidentalis cv. Rhein Gold) belongs to Cupressaceae (the Cypress family). It is a small evergreen tree that is a cultivar of "Northern white-cedar" that is distributed in the northeastern part of North America. This tree is dwarf, has a height of about 1.2 m, and has the property of spreading laterally. The tip of the branch is yellowish, and the color is lime green throughout. From fall to spring, the leaves become brownish. It is one of the typical types of conifers.
