ロサ・ウィルギニアナ [Index] [Back] 北アメリカの東部が原産です。潅木帯や草地に生え、高さは１．２〜１．８メートルになります。幹は直立し、葉は奇数羽状複葉で７〜９個の小葉がつきます。５月から７月ごろ、直径５センチほどのピンク色の花を咲かせます。果実は丸く、赤色に熟します。 バラ科バラ属の落葉小低木で、学名は Rosa virginiana。英名は Virginia rose。 The Virginia rose (Rosa virginiana) belongs to Rosaceae (the Rose family). It is a deciduous shrub that is native to eastern North America. This herb grows in thickets or meadows and can reach 1.2-1.8 m in height. The stem is erect and the leaves are odd-pinnate compound with 7-9 leaflets. The pink flowers around 5 cm across come in May to July.
