ルドベキア・テキサーナ [Index] [Back] アメリカのテキサス州東部からルイジアナ州西部に分布しています。湿った草原や鉄道沿い、高速道路沿いなどに生え、高さは５０〜１２０センチになります。葉は革質で楕円形から披針形、細かい毛に被われ互生します。５月から１１月ごろ、花茎を伸ばして黄色い頭花を咲かせます。頭花は、目立つ暗褐色のドーム状をした筒状花を真ん中に、その周りを黄色い舌状花が飾ります。  キク科オオハンゴンソウ属の多年草で、学名は Rudbeckia texana。英名は Texas coneflower、Shiny coneflower。  The Texas coneflower (Rudbeckia texana) belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed from eastern Texas to western Louisiana in the United States. It grows in moist grasslands, along railways and highways, and is 50-120 cm tall. The leaves are leathery, elliptic to lanceolate, covered with fine hairs and alternate. From May to November, the flower stalks extend to produce yellow head flowers.
