セロジネ・コッビアナ [Index] [Back] フィリピンが原産です。標高１２００メートル以上の森林で、樹木の幹や岩の上に着生します。偽鱗茎の上に披針形の葉をだします。１０月から３月ごろ、長い花茎を下垂させ、白色から淡黄色の小さな花を咲かせます。花にはバニラのような芳香があります。 ラン科セロジネ属の常緑多年草で、学名は Coelogyne cobbiana (syn. Dendrobium cobbianum)。英名は Cobb's coelogyne、Dangling chain orchid。 The Cobb's coelogyne (Coelogyne cobbiana) belongs to Orcidaceae (the Orchid family). It is an evergreen herb that is native to the Philippines. It grows in forests at altitudes of 1200 m or higher, epiphytic on tree trunks and rocks. It produces lanceolate leaves on pseudobulbs. From October to March, it produces long, drooping scapes with small white to pale yellow flowers.
