東南アジア、おそらくはビルマからタイが原産です。雨林の林内に生え、樹幹や岩上に着生します。偽球茎は卵形で、匍匐茎に沿って連なります。葉は楕円形で、２個がつきます。秋から冬にかけて、偽球茎の頂に、赤褐色の唇弁のある黄色い花を１個咲かせます。

ラン科セロジネ属の常緑多年草で、学名は Coelogyne uniflora。英名はありません。

The Coelogyne uniflora belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is a perennial herbacious plant that is distributed Southeast Asia, probably Burma to Thailand. This orchid is an epiphyte that grows on tree trunks or rocks in rainforests. Pseudobulbs are ovate and arranged in a row along the rhizome. Leaves are oblong and bifoliate. Solitary yellow flower with reddish brown lip is seen on the terminal pseudobulb from fall to winter.
