アフリカの東部、ソマリアが原産です。地下茎で広がり、葉は幅広く細かい横縞があります。花茎を伸ばして白い筒状花を咲かせます。園芸上は「おおひろはちとせらん（大広葉千歳蘭）」と呼ばれます。 |

リュウゼツラン科チトセラン属の常緑多年草で、学名は Sansevieria grandis。英名はありません。 |

The Sansevieria grandis belongs to Agavaceae (the Agave family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is native to Somalia, eastern Africa. This herb spreads by the rhizome, and the leaves are wide and have fine horizontal stripes. In horticulture, it is called "Oo-hiroha-chitose-ran" in Japan. |
