サルビア・スカブラ [Index] [Back] 南アフリカのケープ地方が原産です。海岸の砂地や沿海の茂みなどに生え、高さは４５〜９０センチになります。全草に短い毛が生えています。葉は緑色、竪琴状で浅裂しています。春から秋にかけて、淡いピンク色から淡い藤色の筒状花を輪生状に咲かせます。 シソ科アキギリ属の多年草で、学名は Salvia scabra。英名は Coastal blue sage。 The Coastal blue sage (Salvia scabra) belongs to Lamiaceae (the Mint family). It is a perennial herb that is native to the Cape Province of South Africa. This herb grows on sandy shores and coastal brush and can reach 45-90 cm in height. The plant is covered with short hairs.
