サルビア・ウリカ [Index] [Back] メキシコからホンジュラス、グアテマラに分布しています。背の低いタイプは６０センチ、背の高いタイプは１．２〜１．８メートルになります。葉は心形で毛に被われ、甘い香りがします。夏から秋にかけて、濃い青紫色の花を咲かせます。下唇にはフリルがあり、内側に曲がっています。 シソ科アキギリ属の落葉小低木で、学名は Salvia urica。英名は Blue bush sage。 The Blue bush sage (Salvia urica) belongs to Lamiaceae (the Mint family). It is a deciduous shrub that is native to Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala. This herb can reach about 60 cm in height (Short form). Another tall form can grow up 1.2-1.8 m in height. The leaves are herat-shaped, hirsute and aromatic. The dark purplish blue flowers appear from summer to fall. The lower lips are incurved with frilled edges.
