"Sato-zakura 'Ojochin'" (Prunus lannesiana cv. Ojochin) belongs to Rosaceae (the Rose family). It is a tall deciduous tree that is a cultivar of the "Ooshuma-zakura" family and is classified as a member of the "Sato-zakura" group. It has long peduncles and pedicels, and is characterized by large flowers hanging down and blooming. The leaves are ovate and have single or doubly serrations on the edges. The pink flowers come in mid-April. It has 6 to 10 petals and wavy wrinkles on the edges.
