シラー・アウツムナリス [Index] [Back] 地中海地方、ポルトガル・モロッコから東にトルコ、コーカサス地方にかけて分布しています。海に近い草原に生え、高さは２５センチほどになります。７月から９月ごろ、淡い紫色の花を咲かせます。花は横向きに咲き、６個の花披片があります。  ユリ科ツルボ属の多年草で、学名は Scilla autumnalis (syn. Prospero autumnale)。英名は Autumn squill。  The Autumn squill (Scilla autumnalis) belongs to Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is a perennial herb that is native to the Mediterranean region, from Portugal and Morocco east to Turkey and the Caucasus. This herb grows in grasslands near the sea and it can reach about 25 cm in height. The pale purple flowers bloom from July to September.
