南アメリカのブラジルからアルゼンチンに分布するモンテウィデンシス種（Scoparia montevidensis）の改良品種です。サントリーフラワーズが開発したイルミナ（Ilumina）シリーズの一品種で、わが国では「リトルチュチュ（Little Chuchu）」という名前で流通しています。高さは２５〜３０センチになり、５月から１０月ごろまで、鮮やかな黄色い花を咲かせます。

The Scoparia 'Ilumina Lemon Mist' (Scoparia cv. Ilumina Lemon Mist) belongs to Scrophulariaceae (the Figwort family). It is a perennial herb that is a cultivar of the Scoparia montevidensis, native to Brazil and Argentine. This variety is one of cultivar 'Ilumina' - breeded by Suntory Flowers. It is distributed in the market of Japan by the name 'Little Chuchu'. This herb can reach 25-30 cm in height, and bloom bright yellow flowers from May to October.
