The Sedum sediforme belongs to Crassulaceae (the Orpine family). It is a small perennial herb that is native to the Mediterranean region. This herb is succulent and one well adapted to drought. It can reach more than 30 cm in height, of upright habit. The leaves are oblong, fleshy and glaucous blue-green. The inflorescences emerge terminal stems up to 50 cm, and bloom yellow flowers, with five petals and five stamens, from July to August.
