せいひちく (青皮竹) [Index] [Back] 中国南東部と台湾が原産です。中国の南部ではよく川沿いや村を囲うように栽培されています。桿は高さ９〜１２メートル、直径は３〜５センチになります。葉は披針形で、枝先に８〜１２個が羽状につきます。筍は５月から９月にでます。 イネ科ホウライチク属の常緑タケ類で、学名は Bambusa textilis。英名はありません。 The Qing pi zhu (Bambusa textilis) belongs to Poaceae (the Grass family). It is an evergreen bamboo that is native to east-southern China and Taiwan. It is usually cultivated along rivers and around villages in southern China. The culms can reach 9-12 m in height and 3-5 cm in diameter. The leaves are lanceolate, and 8-12 leaves are arranged pinnately at the top branches.
