セネキオ・セルペンス [Index] [Back] 南アフリカのケープ地方に分布しています。基部から分枝して、高さは３０センチ以上、直径は６０センチほどになります。葉は粉白の青緑色で、ゆびのような形状、みずみずしくて長さは２．５〜５センチです。夏、葉の上につく数個の散房花序に、小さな白色の花を咲かせます。 キク科キオン属の常緑多年草で、学名は Senecio serpens。英名は Blue chalksticks。 The Blue chalksticks (Senecio serpens) belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is a succulent, evergreen perennial herb that is native to the Cape Province in South Africa. This herb is branching from the base, and it can reach up to 30 cm in height, about 60 cm in diameter. The leaves are powdery blue-green, finger-like fleshy, and 2.5-5 cm long. The small white flowers in few flowered corymbs rise just above the foliage in summer.
