ヨーロッパが原産です。おもにアルプス周辺に分布しています。茎はか細く、高さは３０〜６０センチになります。葉は狭披針形で螺旋状につきます。５月から６月ごろ、淡青色の花を咲かせます。 |

アマ科アマ属の多年草で、学名は Linum perenne。英名は Perennial flax。 |

The Perennial flax (Linum perenne) belongs to Linaceae (the Flax family). It is a perennial herb that is native to Europe, primarily in the Alps. The stem is slender and can reach 30-60 cm in height. The leaves are narrow lanceolate and arranges spirally. The pale blue flowers come in May to June. |
