The Chinese forget-me-not (Cynoglossum amabile) belongs to Boraginaceae (the Borage family). It is a perennial herb that is native to the southwestern part of China and grows in grasslands and forests at an altitude of 1900 to 3500 m. It is similar to "Water forget-me-not" (Myosotis scorpioides), but the height is about 60 cm. The basal leaves are spatula-shaped, the branches and leaves are oblong, and coarse hair grows. From May to June, bright bluish-purple to sky-blue flowers bloom in the inflorescences.
