しなわすれなぐさ (支那勿忘草)

中国の西南部が原産で、標高１９００〜３５００メートルの草地や林内に生えています。「わすれなぐさ（勿忘草）」に似ていますが、高さは６０センチほどになります。また根生葉はへら形、枝葉は長楕円形で、粗い毛が生えています。５月から６月ごろ、散状花序に鮮やかな青紫色から空色の花を咲かせます。 |

ムラサキ科オニルリソウ属の多年草で、学名は Cynoglossum amabile。英名は Chinese forget-me-not。 |

The Chinese forget-me-not (Cynoglossum amabile) belongs to Boraginaceae (the Borage family). It is a perennial herb that is native to the southwestern part of China and grows in grasslands and forests at an altitude of 1900 to 3500 m. It is similar to "Water forget-me-not" (Myosotis scorpioides), but the height is about 60 cm. The basal leaves are spatula-shaped, the branches and leaves are oblong, and coarse hair grows. From May to June, bright bluish-purple to sky-blue flowers bloom in the inflorescences. |
