ブラジル南部からウルグアイ、アルゼンチン北部にかけて分布している「こまち（小町, Notocactus scopa）」の変種あるいは園芸品種のようです。コマチ系統に特有の先端が分裂した赤い雌しべがありますが、花弁の色が黄色ではなく、淡いピンク色をしています。詳細な情報は見あたりません。

"Shin-komachi" (Notocactus sp.) belongs to Cactaceae (the Cactus family). It is a ball cuctus that appears to be a variety or garden variety of "Komachi" (Notocactus scopa)", which is distributed from southern Brazil to Uruguay and northern Argentina. It has a red pistil with a split tip, which is characteristic of the Komachi system, but the petals are pale pink instead of yellow. No detailed information is available.
