The "Shirobana-tsukuba-torikabuto" (Aconitum tsukubense) belongs to Ranunculaceae (the Buttercup family). It is a perennial herb that is a white-flowered form of the "Tsukuba-torikabuto" which is distributed to Honshu of Japan, northward from Chubu district to the Pacific Ocean Sea Side of Kanto and southern Tohoku district. The species is not yet confirmed, and therefore the scientific name is provisional. In this natural habitat, there were three plants two years ago, but this year only one plant is said to be left.
