コロンビアからパナマに分布しています。熱帯雨林に生える着生植物で、高さは５０〜８０センチになります。葉は濃緑色の狭卵形から卵形で、長さは２５〜４０センチあり、葉脈に淡緑色の縁取りがあります。赤紫色を帯びた緑色の仏炎苞に包まれた肉穂花序に、目立たない花を咲かせます。 |

サトイモ科ベニウチワ属の常緑多年草で、学名は Anthurium crystallium。英名はありません。 |

The Anthurium crystallium belongs to Araceae (the Arum family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is native to Colombia and Panama. This herb is an epiphyte, grows in rainforests and can reach 50-80 cm in height. Leaves are narrowly ovate to ovate, 25-40 cm long, deep green and have paler green patch outlining the veins. Flowers are inconspicuous, and bloom in the spadix covered with green spathe tinged red-violet. |
