The Baby broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica cv.) belongs to Brassiaceae (the Mustard family). It is an annual or biannual herb that resembles broccoli but is a hybrid between "Broccoli" (Brassica oleracea var. italica) and "Choy sums" (Brassica rapa var. parachinensis). It prefers cool climates and is not suited for cultivation in extreme environments. Compared to broccoli, it is less resistant to cold but more resistant to heat. It will be 60 to 70 cm tall. The leaves, young stems, buds, and flowers are all edible. Like broccoli, it can be boiled, steamed, used in salads, or stir-fried. It is also known as "stem broccoli". Varieties of this combination include "Stick Senyor" (Sakata Seed), "Green Voice" (Takii Seed), "Stickory" (Tokita Seed), and "Slim" (Nacos).
