Swamp fern (Blechnum serrulatum) belongs to the Blechnaceae family. It is an evergreen fern that is native to Florida, Central America and South America. This fern grows in swamps, marshes, wet prairies, and up to 60-120 cm in height. The leaves are erect to arching. The leaves are unipennate compound, broadly linear to elliptic-lanceolate, with terminal pinnae. The pinnae are linear to linear-elliptic or linear-lanceolate, 3-15 × 0.5-1.8 cm.
