メキシコが原産の「ゼブリナ・ペンデュラ」の園芸品種です。母種の葉が、光沢のある白緑色で紫緑色の縞があるのに対して、この品種では縞がなく濃緑色をしています。また紫褐色の縁取りがあります。 |

ツユクサ科ゼブリナ属の常緑多年草で、学名は Zebrina purpusii var. minor。英名はありません。 |

The Zebrina purpusii var. minor belongs to Commelinaceae (the Spiderwort family). It is an evergreen herb that is a cultivar of "Zebrina pendula" native to Mexico. The leaves of the mother species are shiny white-green with purple-green stripes, whereas this variety has no stripes and is dark green. It also has a purple-brown edging. |
