ダレア・ラシアテラ [Index] [Back] 北アメリカの南部、テキサス州およびメキシコ北部に自生しています。岩の多い平原や丘の中腹、メスキートサバンナなどに生え、高さは１５〜３０センチほどなります。それは多くの茎があり、低いロゼットを形成します。葉は羽状複葉で、小さな卵形から楕円形の小葉がつきます。４月から６月ごろ、オレンジから黄色の葯を持つ小さな紫色の花が穂状花序に咲きます。果実は小さな非裂開性の痩果です。  マメ科ダレア属の常緑小低木で、学名は Dalea lasiathera。英名は Purple dalea。  The purple dalea (Dalea lasiathera) belongs to Fabaceae (the Pea family). It is an evergreen shrub that is native to southern North America, Texas and northern Mexico. This herb grows in stony plains and hillsides, mesquite savannah, and up to a height of 15-30 cm. It is many-stemmed and forms a low rosette. The leaves are pinnately compound with small ovate to elliptic leaflets. The tiny purple flowers that have orange to yellow anthers, bloom in spikes from April to June.
