ダウベニア・マルギナータ [Index] [Back] 南アフリカのケープ地方西部が原産です。ドレライト粘土の平原に生え、高さは５センチほどです。マッソニア属の近縁で、大きな楕円形の葉が２個だけつきます。花は葉の間に密集していて、黄色からオレンジ色の雄しべが目立ちます。  ユリ科ダウベニア属の多年草で、学名は Daubenya marginata (syn. Massonia marginata)。英名はありません。  The Daubenya marginata belongs to Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is a perennial herb that is native to the western part of the Cape region of South Africa. It grows on the plains of dolerite clay and is about 5 cm high. It is closely related to the genus Massonia and has only two large elliptic leaves.
