インドネシアのモルッカ諸島が原産です。標高１２００メートルより高い原生林に生え、高さは２５〜５０センチになります。葉は落葉性で披針形、葉鞘に黒い斑点があります。春と夏に、３〜１０個の花がつく花序をだします。

ラン科セッコク属の常緑多年草で、学名は Dendrobium crepidiferum (syn. Dendrobium glomeratum)。英名はありません。

|
The Dendrobium crepidiferum belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is a perennial herb that is native to the Moluccas Islands in Indonesia. This herb grows in old forests at elevations of 1200 m and higher, and can reach 25-50 cm in height. The leaves are deciduous, lanceolate with dark spots on the leaf sheaths. The 3 to 10 flowered inflorescence are borne in the spring and summer.
