フィリピンが原産です。標高５００〜７００メートルの山地に生える着生ランです。バルブは叢生し、細い円筒形をしています。葉は柄のある線形で、やや革質です。冬に花茎を伸ばし、２列に緑黄色または赤紫色の花を咲かせます。萼片は披針形です。

ラン科デンドロキルム属の常緑多年草で、学名は Dendrochilum wenzelii。英名はありません。

The Dendrochilum wenzelii belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is native to the Philippines. It is an epiphytic orchid that grows in mountains at an altitude of 500 to 700 m. The bulbs are crowded and have a thin cylindrical shape. The leaves are linear with a handle and slightly leathery. In winter, the flower stalks are extended and two rows of green-yellow or magenta flowers bloom. The calyx is lanceolate.
