ディプラレナ・ラティフォリア [Index] [Back] オーストラリアの南東部に分布しています。湿ったヒース地帯や沼地、小川沿いなどに生え、高さは３０〜６０センチになります。葉は紐状で長く、３０〜５０センチあります。春から初夏にかけて、花茎を伸ばして、白色の花を咲かせます。花被片には大きなものが３個、小さなものが３個あり、小さな花被片には黄色と紫色の斑紋があります。 アヤメ科ディプラレナ属の多年草で、学名は Diplarrena latifolia (syn. Diplarrena moraea)。英名は Western flag iris、Tasmanian diplarrena。 The Western flag iris (Diplarrena latifolia) belongs to Iridaceae (the Iris family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in southeastern Australia. It grows in moist heathlands, marshes, and along streams, reaching a height of 30 to 60 cm. The leaves are long and cord-like, measuring 30 to 50 cm. From spring to early summer, it extends a flower stalk and blooms white flowers.
