ディプテロカルプス [Index] [Back] 東南アジアから南アジア、インド、スリランカにかけて分布しています。また多様性に富み、とくにボルネオ島では最も多様性が高くなっています。大きいものでは樹高４５メートルまたはそれ以上、枝下樹高は２１メートルに達するものがあります。この木材は多くの国で用いられてきました。 フタバガキ科フタバガキ属の常緑高木で、学名は Dipterocarpus sp.。英名は Keruing。 The Keruing (Dipterocarpus sp.) belongs to the family Dipterocarpaceae. It is a tall evergreen tree that is distributed across Southeast Asia, South Asia, India, and Sri Lanka. It is also highly diverse, with the greatest diversity found on the island of Borneo. The largest specimens can reach a height of 45 m or more, with a branch-free height of up to 21 m.
