タベブイア・アウレア [Index] [Back] 南アメリカが原産で、スリナムやブラジル、ボリビア東部、ペルー、パラグアイそれにアルゼンチン北部に分布しています。高さは８メートルほどになります。葉は掌状複葉で、小葉は５個または７個つきます。葉は明るい黄色で直径６．５センチまで、緩い円錐花序に咲きます。果実は細い痩果です。  ノウゼンカズラ科タベブイア属の乾季落葉小高木で、学名は Tabebuia aurea。英名は Caribbean trumpet tree、Silver trumpet tree。  Caribbean trumpet tree (Tabebuia aurea) belongs to Bignoniaceae (the Trumpet creeper family). It is a semi-tall dry season-deciduous tree that is native to South America; Suriname, Brazil, eastern Bolivia, Peru, Paraguay, and northern Argentina. This tree is growing to 8 m tall. The leaves are palmately compound, with five or seven leaflets. The flowers are bright yellow, up to 6.5 cm diameter, bloom in a loose panicle.
