タベブイア・インペティギノーサ [Index] [Back] メキシコ北部からアルゼンチンの北部にかけて分布しています。高さは３０メートルほどになります。樹皮は褐灰色で堅く、なかなか剥げません。葉は楕円形から披針形で対生し、縁には浅い鋸歯があります。早春、葉の展開前に大きな筒形で、ピンク色から赤紫色の花を咲かせます。 ノウゼンカズラ科タベブイア属の落葉高木で、学名は Tabebuia impetiginosa。英名は Pink lapacho。 The Pink lapacho (Tabebuia impetiginosa) belongs to Bignoniaceae (the Trumpet creeper family). It is a tall deciduous tree that is distributed from northern Mexico south to northern Argentina. This tree can reach about 30 m in height. The bark is brownish gray, tough and hard to peel. The leaves are opposite, elliptic to lanceolate with lightly serrated margins.
