たいみんちく (大明竹)

わが国の南西諸島から沖縄に分布しています。株立ち状で、桿の高さは７〜８メートルになり、上部が扇状に下垂します。葉は線状披針形で、細長く尖り、捻れる傾向があります。別名で、「つうしちく（通糸竹）」とも呼ばれます。 |

イネ科メダケ属の常緑ササ類で、学名は Pleioblastus gramineus。英名はありません。 |

"Taimin-chiku" (Pleioblastus gramineus) belongs to Poaceae (the Grass family). It is an evergreen "Sasa" (Bamboo grass), and distributed from the Nansei Islands of Japan to the Okinawa Islands in Japan. It is a standing shape, the height of the rod is 7 to 8 m, and the upper part hangs like a fan. The leaves are linear lanceolate, elongated, pointed and prone to twisting. It is also called "Tsuushi-chiku" in Japan. |
