"Taimin-chiku" (Pleioblastus gramineus) belongs to Poaceae (the Grass family). It is an evergreen "Sasa" (Bamboo grass), and distributed from the Nansei Islands of Japan to the Okinawa Islands in Japan. It is a standing shape, the height of the rod is 7 to 8 m, and the upper part hangs like a fan. The leaves are linear lanceolate, elongated, pointed and prone to twisting. It is also called "Tsuushi-chiku" in Japan.
