わが国の本州、中部地方以北に分布しています。山地に生え、高さは１５〜５０センチになります。葉は卵状披針形です。６月から８月ごろ、葉腋から細い花柄を出して淡黄緑色の花を下垂して咲かせます。花被片は６個で先端が反り返ります。秋には、真っ赤な球形の液果をつけます。 |

ユリ科タケシマラン属の多年草で、学名は Streptopus streptopoides var. japonicus。英名はありません。 |

"Takeshima-ran" (Streptopus streptopoides var. japonicus) belongs to the Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed northward from Chubu district of Honshu, Japan. This herb growss in mountains and can reach 15-50 cm in height. The leaves are ovate-lanceolate. The narrow peduncles are borne on the axiles and bloom pale yellowish green drooping flowers from June to August. The 6 tepals are recurving outside. The fruits are berries and ripen red in fall. |
