たかねこうりんか (高嶺高輪花)

わが国の固有種で、本州の奥志賀や湯の丸高原、北・南アルプスと八ヶ岳に分布しています。亜高山帯から高山帯の草地や砂礫地に生え、高さは１０〜４０センチになります。茎や葉は、真綿のような毛に薄く被われます。７月下旬から８月ごろ、茎の先にオレンジ色の頭花を咲かせます。舌状花は短くて平開しません。また総苞や長い苞は暗紫色をしています。 |

キク科キオン属の多年草で、学名は Senecio takedanus。英名はありません。 |

"Takane-kourinka" (Senecio takedanus) belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is a perennial herb that is endemic to Japan and is distributed in Oku-Shiga, Yunomaru Plateau, Northern and Southern Alps and Yatsugatake in Honshu. It grows in subalpine to alpine grasslands and gravel, and can reach 10-40 cm in height. The stems and leaves are thinly covered with cotton-like hair. From late July to August, orange flower heads bloom at the tips of the stems. The ray flowers are short and do not open flat. The involucres and long bracts are dark purple. |
