The False peyote (Ariocarpus retusus cv.) belongs to Cactaceae (the Cactus family). It is a cuctus that is said to be a cultivar of "Ariocarpus retusus" distributed from Texas in the United States to Mexico. Among the Ariocarpus retusus type, it is said to be a type with a relatively wide wart. It is about 10 to 25 cm in diameter and has thick gray or turquoise triangular leaves. The white or pink flowers come in fall.
