テコマンテ・ウェヌスタ [Index] [Back] ニューギニアが原産です。標高５００〜１５００メートルの熱帯雨林に生え、蔓性で１５メートル以上の長さになります。春から夏にかけて、古い枝から花序をだし、濃いピンク色の筒状花を咲かせます。花冠の内側は、淡いクリーム色です。 ノウゼンカズラ科テコマンテ属の常緑小低木で、学名は Tecomanthe venusta。英名はありません。 The Tecomanthe venusta belongs to Bignoniaceae (the Trumpet creeper family). It is an evergreen shrub that is native to New Guinea. This tree is a climbing vine and grows in tropical rainforests at 500-1500 m elevation. This vine can reach up to 15 m long. The inflorescences are borne on the old branches and bloom the deep pink tubular flowers in spring to summer. The inside of corolla is pale creamy.
