テリマ・グランディフローラ [Index] [Back] 北アメリカの西部、アラスカ州、ブリティッシュコロンビア州からカリフォルニア州北部に分布しています。一属一種です。湿潤な森林の岩上に生え、高さは３０〜６０センチになります。葉は円形で、縁には浅い切れ込みと鋸歯があります。葉の表面には疎らに毛が生えます。４月から５月ごろ、長い花茎をだして、先端の総状花序に花を咲かせます。花は５弁で、緑白色から紫色、羽状に深裂しています。  ユキノシタ科テリマ属の多年草で、学名は Tellima grandiflora。英名は Bigflower tellima、Fringe-cups。  The Bigflower tellima (Tellima grandiflora) belongs to Saxifragaceae (the Saxifrage family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in the western part of North America, from Alaska and British Columbia to northern California. It is the only species in the genus Tellima. It grows on rocks in damp forests and is 30 to 60 cm tall. The leaves are round with shallow lobes and serrations along the edges. The leaf surface is sparsely covered in hairs. In April and May, it produces long scapes with flowers at the tip in a raceme.
