The One-leaf foamflower (Tiarella trifoliata var. unifoliata) belongs to Saxifragaceae (the Saxifrage family). It is a perennial herb that is native to western North America. This herb grows in the low to moderate elevation moist forests, snd it can reach about 45 cm in height. The basal and stem leaves are divided into 3-5 lobes palmately. The flowers are bell-shaped, white, tiny, and bloom in a loose panicle from June to September.
